An unusual art project

In Trafalgar Square, for 100 days, 24 hours a day, a different person will spend one hour high atop an otherwise empty plinth in the square. This continues into September and the whole thing is being webcast (if the site can handle the traffic) - One & Other. It can be interesting to see what people will do given such a stage.

Salem Art Festival

Art and Science this weekend

Starting tomorrow, Friday, are two of my favorite local events, daVinci Days in Corvallis and the Salem Art Festival. Both will continue thru Sunday. The photo above is from the daVinci Days Kinetic Sculpture Race in 2007.
